No, due to organisational reasons this is not possible. When starting the course, the ticket is validated on a daily basis (so it is not possible to suspend the course for a day, except Saturday). There are no group courses on Saturdays.
Skiers are allocated to their group directly at the collection points. Please talk to the area managers at the collection points, they will tell you which group you are allocated to. Grouping depends on size, skill, language and age of your child. If you think your child should be in a different group, please talk to the respective area manager or visit our ski school office.
We offer the possibility for children to have lunch with the ski instructor. We recommend the Pauli Taler (from 4 years to 10 years old) This Taler includes lunch care, food and one drink. Of course kids older than 10 years old are also supervised but should bring along cash to choose their menue individually.
ATTENTION: In the season 20/21, please note that due to official measures, lunchtime care only takes place with reduced participants or is even not possible >> You can find current information under "Service / COVID-19 Info".
We have Dutch instructors and also some Austrian and German instructors who speak a little Dutch. However, we cannot always promise that the instructor will be able to speak Dutch. We ask you to let us know your requirements when the groups are being assigned, and we'll do our best.
Refunds (only unused course days) on the ground of injury or illness can be allowed only on submission of a doctor's certificate from a local doctor. Course cancellations due to weather conditions (force majeure) will not be refunded. For more informations please see our Terms & conditions.
You will find the link to download the group pictures on our webseite "Service >> your Ski photo". An access code is required.
Our group programme is planned for a week, with the final ski race on Friday. It therefore makes sense to stay on the course for the whole (5) 6 days. But of course it's also possible to take the course for fewer days.
The group division takes place at the main gathering place near the Salober-valley station. First of all, the division is based on the children's ski/snowboard ability, age and language. If your children have about the same level, it is no problem at all to group them together. However, we ask you to voice your request before the group division. If the children do not have the same level, but still want to be in the same group, the child with the higher level will have to join the child with the weaker level.
From 3 years. For the 3 and 4-year-olds we offer a half-day course (Bambini Ski).
All other children have a full-day course. However, for snowboard courses we recommend a minimum age of 10 years. For younger snowboarders we recommend a private course.
The motto here is: the sooner the better! During busy holiday times, we would definitely recommend you to book your private lesson in advance per email or on our homepage, so that we can do our best to meet your wishes. Of course, a short-term booking in our offices on site according to availability is also possible.
Due to organisational reasons we are unable to confirm or promise that you will have a certain instructor during a group course. If you book a private lesson it is of course possible to book your preferred instructor, if he or she is available. Please let us know your preferences as early as possible:Request form
As a rule, groups are assigned on Sundays (sometimes Mondays). However, it is always possible for advanced skiers to join an existing group during the week. Weekend courses take place when there are 3 or more people.
In principle it is not possible to cancel a lesson. The ski school has several offers: for example, the first day try-out lesson or extension prices to keep your "risk" as low as possible. If, for any reason, it still does not work out, we offer the possibility to change your lesson to another day within your stay or to switch the lesson to another family member. A lesson can be cancelled due injury if you provide us with a medical certificate.
If you have more questions, simply contact us by phone, e-mail or onsite in the Ski School Office!
